"Interning at Elkstone has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. Being placed in one of Irelands Leading Alternative Venture Companies has been so impactful as it has shaped my mindset within the professional realm of what goes into investing in the ever-evolving market of startup companies. During this internship I am proud to say that I have been able to strengthen my critical thinking skills, and teamwork skills far beyond what I ever could imagine. Being tasked with projects and research responsibilities within the different markets of AI, MedTech's, and other corresponding SaaS companies has been the highlight of my internship thus far, due to the amount of knowledge I was able to acquire about the market of the different industries, and the guidance I have gotten from my experienced colleagues when it comes to how to be successful within the funding rounds. Another highlight to this experience was being able to meet all of the CEOs of these startups; with their passions and drive it has inspired me to keep pushing for my goals and aspirations within the business world. I am so grateful for this opportunity and look forward to using all I learned this summer to apply to my career aspirations!"

"This internship has been more than just a learning experience—it has been a journey of growth, reflection, and active contribution toward a cause that I am deeply passionate about. Through our work, I’ve engaged with diverse communities, helping to raise awareness and drive conversations on issues that profoundly impact the lives of many. I am proud of the research we've conducted, which will contribute to ongoing efforts in advocacy and policy-making.

I am incredibly grateful for the experience and the connections I’ve made through this journey. This experience has strengthened my resolve to continue advocating for those whose voices are often marginalized."

"Over the course of my internship at Mercy Law Resource Centre, I have engaged in legal and advocacy work centered on combatting homelessness and social housing issues in Ireland. From directly assisting clients at legal clinics to developing policy reports, the hands-on experience I have gained this summer has deepened my commitment to advancing social welfare. One of the most notable projects I had the opportunity to work on involved challenging a discriminatory housing protocol that was obstructing rightful access to emergency accommodation. Working at Mercy Law, I witnessed firsthand the profound impact that legal assistance can have within vulnerable communities. My internship not only strengthened my professional capabilities, but taught me how law can be used as an instrument for "systemic change.”
