Cultural Activity---Martial Arts
Today, we focused on the intricate nature of martial arts and taichi in China. Together we learned how to handle swords and the basic movements of Taichi. I personally loved this day because the slow and methodical movements helped me reflect in on myself and see what I needed to change.
The instructor was so a great inspiration. I especially liked using swords and trying to master not only the movements but also with the swords. Overall the day was a challenge, but when I overcame the challenge I learned important things about myself and I was able to see the importance of Chinese taichi in culture.
