Daytrip to Cádiz
This saturday, both the Honors and Language and Culture program went to spend the day to Cádiz, a beach city located at the south of Andalucía. The students, with their Program Leaders and tour guides, arrived at the city at 10.30 am., having time to relax and have a coffee before the tour began.
After having a break to sit around and getting used to the different climate, the tour began. They got to learn about the importance of the city and its history, the cultural activities that are held in it and the diferent landmarks that can be found. They visited the cathedral and went up the bell tower, enjoying the amazing views from up there.
Afterwards, we went to the market, which keeps its structure and way of selling the fish and shellfish. The tour ended at the beach, where they got to enjoy the sand and sea, refreshing after walking around the city.
It was a great day!
