From the Glânerie to the Domaine du Thoré, participants have had ample opportunities to contemplate their impact on the environment and reinforce their connections with nature in interactive and unforgettable ways.
Le malheur des uns fait le bonheur des autres.
The Glânerie is a recycling powerhouse analogous to Goodwill. In line with the saying "le malheur des uns fait le bonheur des autres," or "one person's trash is another person's treasure," students witnessed firsthand how the meticulous sorting and reselling of secondhand materials works.
At the Domaine du Thoré, participants enjoyed sacred time in nature, visiting a farm on the way to and overnighting at an ecolodge in the Black Mountains of Southern France.
