Creative Writing in Literary London London, England
Hometown: San Diego, California

I was born and raised in San Diego, California. After high school, I moved to Eugene, Oregon to attend the University of Oregon, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Peace Studies. In order to pursue my lifelong passion of learning and working with children, I chose to attend Portland State University for their exceptional Graduate Teacher Education Program where I graduated with a Masters in Education. I began my career living and teaching English at two elementary schools in Sevilla, Spain for two of the most wonderful years of my life! For the last 9 years, I have been a middle school literature and social studies teacher back home in San Diego. In my free time, I really love to read, to go to the theater, and to spend time with my family and my dog, Charlie! I also have a passion for travel and immersing myself in new cultures. I try to explore new places and learn new things as often as I can.
