Tokyo or Bust (Part 1)
After spending a week getting our feet wet in Kyoto, we headed to Tokyo to really dive into Japan's Gaming Culture. It was overwhelming in the best possible way!
The students got to experience time in Shibuya, where we moved through crowded streets and ended up in the Nintendo Store! Of course, we also had to visit the nearby Pokèmon Center.
A few trains later, and we were in Akihabara, Japan's electronics capital. We visited plenty of shops (retro game stores and capsules galore!) Finally, we ended the day at Sega's Joypolis, Japan's largest indoor themepark. There was so much to do, it can't be contained to one blog! Check back for part 2!
